Introduction
With growth in population, the business trend seems to change, because of which the age structure of any community and population changes. Intake and outtake procedures in international migrations changes, geographic distributions of a particular population seem to shift and various consumers’ behavioural changes are found to have changed too. Consumers’ household compositions and requirements change, which consequently, create a demographic impact on the business environment. Therefore, the business environment is solely dependent on the population growth, which always stays in a fluctuating condition and thus, affects the business strategies. Therefore, the population growth and its ongoing trend should be analysed and accordingly business strategies should be implemented.
The Key Components of Population Growth and Its Factors affecting
The major components of Population growth are the birth rate, the death rate and migration. It is obvious that with the increase in birth rate, it finally leads to population growth and along with that, the different trends seem to change accordingly. With the death rate, the population decelerate and again with migration of various people from different area the population increases. According to Australian population chart, the major components of population growth are the natural increases, which certainly mean the birth rate and death rate and the Net Overseas Migration (NOM) where population increases through migration of the peoples and it decreases through their immigrations.
Australia faces population growth not because of excessive birth rate but because of the migration of several people, especially the students in order to pursue their several educational courses visit this country and therefore contribute in increasing Australia’s growth rate. If we take an example say for instance the natural increase rate in Australia was 51% on the other hand the net overseas migration rate was 49% on 2002. However, on 2012 a drastic change in population was found such as natural increase rate was 40% of Australian population growth on the other hand net overseas migration rate increased up to 60%. A statistical reference from Australian Bureau of Statistics is been attached below.

As per Australian state and territory level, the components of population growth changes into Natural increase, Net overseas Migration (NOM) and Net Intra state Migration (NIM). According to Gotmark, Cafaro and O’Sullivan (2018), most importantly Australian population growth varies across the state, territories and sub-regional zones. The students are found to leave their own cities and countries and arrive on Australia in search for better educational system with permanent visa and thereby increase the population growth. Therefore, the trend of the population growth increases as well as decreases due to the certain major factors:
