The Bank of America is a multinational bank also known as BoA, with its headquarters in North California. The bank was established in 1904, providing banking options to the migrants from Italy who faced severe discrimation. At present, it is responsible for serving around 10.73% of all of the bank deposits in America. The main financial services provided by the bank include wealth management, investment banking and commercial banking (Mallette, 2020).
The online banking platform of Bank of America went down for several hours on the last Friday of September, 2021. This resulted in locking a large number of customers out of their accounts until the service was restored again. This particular issue arose during the morning and was not resolved until midday.
