REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT Traditional Owner/s of the land on which CQ University campuses are located (1 mark). The CQU campuses are located all across the Australia including Mackay, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth etc. and each region is represented by different Aboriginal and Torres Islander people like Palawah, Anangu, Yamatji, Goori, Koori, Murri and many more. Individually they follow the customs and protocol of their region. If a single representative would be called then it may call as a bias approach and the course of syllabus will be constrained to a single custom failing to fulfil the idea of the course of complete knowledge. Thus, it is recommended that a representative from each region should be called rather than a single person. Opening statement style (1 mark) After analysing the audience and the aim of the program it is suggested that “Acknowledgement of Country” should be used by the project manager. As “Welcome to the Country” could only be used by elders and esteemed member of the community. Also, the project manager should formally thank the representative of Aboriginals for attending the program (Merlan, 2014). Requirements gathering for each event (1 mark) The culture and customs followed by the Aboriginals and Torres Straight Islanders are much diverse and unique any previous experiences gathered. Thus, the best procedure for gathering the requirements and resources would be to communicate with the people of the local community and ask the about it. Further information could be gathered by using DATSIP. As far as the online resources and information is concerned, much do not have the authenticity therefore, not a suitable approach for the given strategy of the project in consideration (Downing & Kowal, 2010) Requirements traceability Requirements traceability matrix is a method that can help the company to trace the requirement throughout the project life cycle. The adoption of the requirements traceability matrix provides a structure to manage the requirements and could help to ensure requirements and activities are adding value to the company(Rose, 2013). As a result, requirement traceability matrix will be a suitable method for NAIDOC event to track the requirements centrally. Requirements prioritization process According to Waters (2009), MoSCow technique stands for: Must Have- are the requirements that have to be done before the products be delivered. Should Have- are the features that are not necessary but could be important and could add value to customers. Could Have- are the features that are good to have, and could be included to the plan. Won’t have- are the requirements that out of scope in this project, but would like to be included in the future.
