Critical Reflection - 800-1000 words: Questions 1. Reflect upon your overall experience and learning  Overall what did you learn about yourself, your strengths as a professional, your employability skills and your career path and your further development - consider these in terms of the ESCM-SAT; and I have learned and focused on teamwork skill development for my chosen career(public health and councelling) How you worked within the teamwork component of this unit. Talked about your and other team member roles and how this impacted your performance in the team. Point to be noted during answer My role within team at brainstorming time was to give idea of the the project to be implemented. Other team member role, some collect information. Some work on the presentation of powerpoint slides. Some took pictures of the project related information e.g. building and surrounding area how this impacted your performance in the team 2. Identify and analyse 2 experiences (Positive or Negative) from your experience in undertaking the Needs Assessment and Pitch using Borton's Framework. Experiences maybe those that: · did not go well or to plan; · exceeded expectations; · involved significant interactions with others; · led to a significant difference in client/stakeholder outcomes; and/or · affirmed or challenged your accepted practice or theory. Critical Reflection Part -1- Reflection on the Overall Experience and Learning
We live in most dynamic times of the century where there are multiple disruptions
taking place every second in the market. Indeed, change is the only constant that businesses thrive today believes and only prospective to advance in future (Babb, J., Hoda, R., & Nørbjerg, J., 2014). Today, organizations have tremendous choices to select their employees from the pool of students graduating every year. Instead, it is all the more important to reflect on the experience else we tend to forget and miss out important learnings in the process. Appling Gibs learning cycle here, to comprehend the thoughts and feelings which emerges from the reflections (Gibbs, G., 1988).
In the golden words of John Donne, "No man is an island, entire of itself", essentially implying that in life no individual can survive alone whether professionally or personally. I feel it is very relevant as I reflect my journey working with other members in a team (Prentice, W., 2004). Indeed, teamwork forms an instrumental part in fulfilling as well as implementing common objectives effectively and efficiently.
My project was on leadership, power, ethics and how values influence and affect in driving different strategies for change management in most productive and effective way as well as building an atmosphere that is conducive to foster collaboration. Been part of the team that has performed in-depth research and extensively analysis on leadership and how can it be most effective along with ethical values. All the team members were completely focused on understanding the prospective other and allowing proper ground for making the ground conducive for ideations. We all had divided the responsibilities such that each member had dedicated activities assigned and that can prioritize. I was a part of project that is about accessibility in university and my key role was searching information gathering about accessibility signage.
