Design Thinking in Clinical Research / Healthcare
What needs to be addressed is the following :
Ask 5 whys; Extreme users/lead users this is within design thinking
These are two different methods
Method 1 = Ask 5 Whys
Method 2 = Extreme users/lead users
The purpose of this analysis is to describe, compare, and critique the methods as to their usefulness for clinical research.
The analysis is a brief paper of about 1000 - 1500 words.  The analysis should include at least the following:

Introduction
The goal of this analysis is to explain, compare and criticize the methodologies in terms of their applicability to clinical research .This paper highlights the issues related to two methods ‘Extreme users/lead users’ and ‘ask 5 whys’. The procedure for using the methodologies will also be covered, as well as the phase (s) in the design process when you would utilize them. It will also seek for studies connected to techniques and methodologies' applications to clinical research. Finally, this article will cover tool alternative as well as potential hazards for employing these approaches with an example of their use.
Methods
Method 1 = Ask 5 Whys
The 5 Whys approach is an iterative interrogative methodology developed in the 1930s by Toyota Motor Corporation to investigate the cause-and-effect links underlying a given problem. Designers can reveal core causes and explore viable remedies by working backwards from one impact to another up to five times (Schell, 2018).
The 5 Why approach is a straightforward interview strategy in which you inquire about the problem's background. Frequently, the apparent source of an issue is really a symptom of a larger problem chain. The "why" should be asked of the interviewee multiple times until the so-called pain spot is discovered.
The method's goal is to increase awareness of a certain problem or condition. The goal is to have a comprehensive knowledge of why procedures fail to produce the expected results and where improvements should be implemented (Patel & Jenkyn, 2021).
Process:
5 Whys can be used to:
1. Determine what is significant from the perspective of the user/customer/stakeholder.
2. Investigate why users/customers/stakeholders think, feel and act the way they do.
3. Examine the information.
Phase:
1. On the whiteboard, write out the problem to be questioned in one phrase.
2. Teamwork is required to answer the 'why' question.
3. Complete the phrase with your response.
4. Transform the preceding response into the following "why" inquiry.
5. Rep five times more or until you have found the source of the problem.
Method 2 = Extreme users/lead users
Lead users are early adopters of new items who gain the most from advancements. As a result, they are a few steps ahead of the mainstream market in terms of their requirements. In design thinking initiatives, the research phase is essential. Understanding and anticipating client wants and general situations is a success element. Design Thinking is a highly strong tool for incremental or radical innovation efforts.
The method's success also demonstrates how crucial it is for consumers and users to participate actively (Falkenreck, 2021). As a result, LEAD Users play a unique role in design thinking initiatives. Their breadth of expertise, progressiveness and solution competency, give critical insights into todays and more importantly, tomorrow's client requirements.
Process:
1. Create an internal project team. The first stage is to put together your internal project team.
2. Set the LEAD User profile...
