Functional conflict is a type of conflict to reach our specified goals by the efforts of the parties where there are effective elements of the aspect that the efforts can achieve a mutually beneficial outcome. It is a specific characteristic when the parties work together to resolve the conflict in a constructive manner and is very much different from the dysfunctional conflict where the parties attempt to resolve the conflict in a way that harms the others or the bystander. On the other hand, dysfunctional conflict is a type of conflict that occurs when two or more than two groups are involved in coming to an agreement that is not beneficial for all the people who are involved. This type of conflict can effectively cause emotional harm, distress, or may damage the relationships by creating a power struggle. Functional conflict is a productive one and helps to resolve the issues at one hand while the dysfunctional conflict is a destructive one and often leads to further conflict. It is effective to recognise that when the conflict is taking place in the organization in regards to the particular project management it is effective to use functional conflict in order to resolve the issue. 
The project that is taken into consideration for the detailed aspects of the study in handling the entire management processes is the incorporation of the technological aspects in the organization CBSA. CBSA is an organization that provides business solutions to the small and medium firms. Involvement of Technology and other updated software is the latest project that is taken up by the organization.
