According to critics, indeterminate sentences give parole board members too much power and lead to inequitable outcomes due to subjectivity. Advocacy groups say that the sentence offers an incentive for inmates to participate in rehabilitation and enables authorities the chance to release an individual to society once rehabilitation happens. Determinate sentencing means that the offender must fulfil his or her full punishment. I completely agree to the arguments made in the two videos attached. It is true that determinate sentencing is not a good approach as it does take up prison space since the line which differentiate the violent to non-violent crime is not clear under the law....
