Health behaviour is understood as an activity or measure adopted for the purpose o
f protecting and preventing diseases, and, improving health and well-being. These are behavioural patterns, actions and habits create significant impact on health maintenance, promotion, restoration and improvement. As per my personal experience, I would like to improve my self-directed health behaviour, e.g., diet and exercise. These two factors receive considerable attention as individuals are engaging in several harmful acts, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, dietary fat consumption, etc causing harmful effects on health and well-being (Association of State and Territorial Public Health Nutrition Directors, 2006).
