Issues with downloading copyrighted content
Downloading music videos and songs has become such a common practice, that most people don’t think twice before doing it. Not restricted to videos and songs, we download our favourite movies, TV shows and soaps with little thought about ethics, legality or copyright infringements. The truth is, downloading copyrighted content, whether it is videos, songs or movies is wrong, both ethically and legally.
The larger part of the problem with downloading is that we do not think of ethics when it comes to downloading our favourite songs. An issue outside ethical boundaries is hard to assess ethically in the first place (García‐Álvarez, López‐Sintas, and Zerva, 243-264).
