The Equity Principle shows that, if an individual thi
nk that he is underpaid, he will be motivated to reduce the differences by lowering his performance, this theory proved that. In the other side the expectation theory stats that any individual convince his/herself that the result would be very less, he/she will do better as their before expectation.
Individuals have different sets of goals, according to the theory, and can be motivated if they believe that:
· There is a positive relationship between effort and performance.
· A favorable reward will be provided to those who perform well.
· The award will meet a critical need.
