Ans 1 b) Equation for a line perpendicular to the given line y = -1/3x + 5 since perpendicular lines have reciprocal value of slope with opposite sign

Ans 2 a) By solving simultaneous equations graphically we get, x = 4 and y = 3

Ans 2 b) On solving algebraically we get,

Or x = 5 + y/2

? + 1.5? = 9 --- [2]

On solving value of x in equation 2 we get,

Y = 3

And x = 4

Values are same as above.
