FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT WE HAVE 2 OPTIONS OPTION 1 : RECORD A WEBINAR JUST VOICE AND GIVE ME THE LINK OPTION 2: WRITE THE INFORMATION IN WORD SO I CAN DO THE WEBINAR (750 words) This is your last assessment task for this unit SHBXWS002 Provide a safe working environment. You will use all the knowledge you have gained so far in previous learning activities and assessment tasks to do a final presentation. You will be required to: · record a webinar presentation to train staff on the work functions of your personal services business and the safe use of equipment required to fulfil those functions. · You will also need to train your staff on how to control risk, and how to implement emergency solutions in the case of an incident relative to these functions and equipment. · Gather feedback from your staff (this may be simulated as your peers) on your training on the business workplace health and safety policies relating to the operations and safe use of equipment. (note: using a checklist or form might be the most appropriate way to gather this feedback. There are also other methods you can use, but make sure you can clearly document the feedback to upload as part of your submission.) · After you have collected your feedback you will then need to consult with your staff and adjust your policies to meet the characteristics of your personal services business, or justify why no change is required and state what things you may need to keep a check on regularly. · Communicate your updates to your staff, if there are no updates then communicate how you will be updating them on improvements and changes as they are made. Introduction
Providing a safe workplace and a healthy work environment is one of the basic objectives that an employer has to ensure such that the workplace environment is safe and healthy for the employees. To provide access to a better working environment by avoiding workplace accidents is a chief requirement. It can be ensured through training the staff and better knowledge for safe usage of the equipment in the workplace. Therefore, it is evident to acknowledge effective training to the staff for fulfilling those functions that reduce workplace accidents.
Moreover, numerous legislative compliances are required to be met for the smooth running of the business. Accordingly, most of the legislative compliances require effective training of the employees regarding the safe usage of industrial equipment and risk control methods when needed.
