Introduction
The following assignment highlights the re
cent trends that are followed in the organisation. These trends are adapted for their survival and growth as it has been seen that those companies who do not welcome change are cease to extinct. The assignment is based on a video wherein the manager imposes their issues faced while undertaking strategic thinking for the sustained success of their organisation. Adaptation of the digital platform and the benefits of it are also highlighted in this presentation and the way, that this adaptability can help a company to make its global presence. Global partnership among the companies helps them to grow and expand by having a positive diversified man force. In addition, the importance of teamwork is also being highlighted in the presentation.
Review of the Video Provided
In this video presentation, it has been highlighted that the trends of 21st century are very important to be followed in any organisation order to achieve success. The emphasis is given upon the people working in the organisation belonging to different race, sex, ethnicity, religion and customs, moulding them to work on achieving organisational goal. When these differences would be handled properly and moulded to, work together then outcomes that are more productive will be there.
As mentioned by Hanson, Hitt, Ireland and Hoskisson (2016), teamwork is more emphasised and more diversity is welcomed, as people with different skills will help organisation to function in a better way with prospect for growth. As there is more diversity among the organisation there are companies such as McDonald’s and PepsiCo who respects this diversity and prevent discrimination by treating every people by saying everyone is unique and they all must be respected and thus help them grow professionally and retain their personal peace. This will help in more participation of employees in the organisational functioning because of the positive environment created by the management.
This is the reason why these companies are able to operate globally and with growth.
The 21st century organisation structure focuses more on the collaboration. The digital age of the 21st century helps the ways to collaborate in a more effective manner. As suggested by Trigeorgis and Reuer (2017), various tools, which are developed with the help of technological advances, help the successful collaboration among the organisation irrespective of the distance. This help the information transfer in a more effective way by reducing the communication gap and thus make work simpler.
