It was founded by C.J Coles in the year of 1914.
Coles was the first supermarket in Australia and in the recent times the organisation carries out its business operations through 2500 retailing outlets that are situated all over the country.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, merchandise for women as well as men, household appliances, beauty and grooming products, and so on are amongst the retailing products that are sold by Coles.
The retailing organisation provides its customers with quality services at affordable rates and is therefore able to attract the attention of a wide range of buyers.
Reason for choosing Coles
The reason for highlighting Coles in this presentation is because the retailing giant has always believed in promoting diversity and creating an inclusive environment for its employees as well as the customers.
Coles envisions diversity as a means to create a safe and healthy work environment for the labour force.
Coles implements varied strategies in order to promote varied forms of diversity including, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, and so on.
