I have been appointed to the Minister of Tourism in my country. However, it has been observed that an entrepreneur has submitted to consider an ecotourism accommodation that he wants to build in the remote areas in this country. However, throwing light on the above-mentioned statement it can be said I will be discussing some of the sustainable tourism development issues that I will be considering before I turn down or approve the application by this entrepreneur. Moreover, it has been found out that some of the issues have emerged as challenges toward the sustainable tourism development that is related with the structure of the public administration, national economic policy priorities, emergence of the environmental problems, over structure of the international tourism system along with the over commercialisation. Sustainable tourism in general terms is mainly about adapting and re-focusing. A balance must be found out between the usage and the limits so that continuous changing as well as monitoring can take place. Furthermore, this is also the form of tourism that meets the tourist needs, the tourism industry as well as the host communities in the recent times without compromising the ability of the future generations for meeting their own needs.
