Instances of hungry widows, forced to marry underage children, increased fertility death rates, abuse, murder, incest, kidnappings, beatings of wives, self-immolation, lack of education, burning of schools for girls, reduced mobility.
The wearing of the burqa has been documented so many times that Afghan women have become the typical victims of male dominance, ignorance and secret religious doctrine in the world.
