Introduction
The life threatened disease COVID-19 had stepped into the Earth and ruined the lives of human beings specially the children who were affected not only physically but also mentally and psychologically. This virus is very much infectious as well as pathogenic which are caused due to human-to-human transmission. As stated by Li et al. (2020), according to several clinical data, it is observed that this virus is found to affect the young aged people the most, as they are having low immune power to cope with this strong virus.
These young children are seen to be more vulnerable to be infected because they are dependent, might stay in contact with people, who are found to be in contact of the virus and as a result suffer from COVID-19. The symptoms for this virus are found to be mild in nature but it has a long-term effect on the children. The paper of this assignment will study how long-term effects of Coronavirus can affect the children both physically and mentally.
Literature Review
According to a report of the CDC (2020), the children below one years can have severe illness from COVID-19 and increased fever can risk with certain outcomes in their health such as chronic lung disease, sickle cell disease, diabetes, heart disease and many more. As the symptoms of this virus is very mild, which are similar with other common illness symptoms, such as common cough and cold, throat infections, allergies and many more.
Therefore, the parents should remain very cautious about their child, as the virus has no such serious symptoms. The parents should check weather their children are suffering from diarrhea, cough, fever, headache, stomachache, sore throat, tiredness, body and muscles pain, for which immediately should consult with the physician or expert.
