I just need the written portion of the assignment completed.

Effective managers are also proficient communicators, because they know that what they say and how they say it directly impacts their team's ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and make decisions. In this course, you learned how managerial communications impacts both processes and relationships within the organization. For your final assignment, you will develop a managerial communication plan that facilitates effective and efficient internal communications between departmental managers and departmental teams:

  • Your plan should include policies for oral, written, and non-verbal communications.

  • Your plan should include procedures for communications involving conflict management and decision making.

  • Your plan should detail the specific process and tools used to communicate between departments in specific situations.

  • You should present your communication plan in a formal, written report that includes the policies, procedures, processes, and tools that your organization will use, along with an analysis of why you selected each component. The report should be in APA format, and be between2500-3000 wordsin length.

  • You will support your written communication plan with an oral presentation that gives a high-level overview of our plan's key elements to stakeholders. This presentation should last no more than5-10 minutes.

Project Prompts

You may want to this start this project by deciding the type of organization or industry you will be writing about. For example, a communication plan for a manufacturing plant, where all employees work in one large building, may be different than the plan at a retail chain that has stores in many different cities or a virtual company, where most employees work from home.

Organizations can become siloed, with each department failing to share information with other departments or individuals in the same organization. Effective managerial communications will take down the walls between departments, opening the flow of information, knowledge, and ideas between divisions. As you develop your plan, think about ways to facilitate communications between groups that normally do not interact with each other.

Think about the different communication tools that organizations have access to today, and how these tools are used. Every company has access to telephones and email, but think about other technologies that allows collaboration across workgroups. Consider both synchronous tools, such as instant messaging, video conferences, or in-person meetings, and asynchronous tools, like SharePoint, discussion threads, or wikis. As you research your plan, consider the tools that make the most sense for your organization and your plan.

In the business setting, it is common for professionals to give a short oral presentation containing high-level details of long written documents to key stakeholders. Since managerial communications are comprised of verbal, nonverbal, written, and visual elements, consider how to incorporate these elements into your oral presentation. At the very least, you will need to submit an oral webcam or audio recording of your presentation. You can also combine elements from your written communication plan into your oral report by creating a narrated presentation, using tools like PowerPoint or Prezi, that let you combine text, sound, images, and movement into one medium.

Introduction
Communication is one of the most vital components in the organization. A proper communication will aid in good co-ord
ination among the employees and that is beneficial for the proper organizational operations. An effective communication in the organization ensures that all the employees at different level of their hierarchy are working in a collaborative manner and they all thrive for a common goal. However the larger the organization the more complex the communication pattern and system becomes. This kind of complexity arises particularly in a big manufacturing organization. Therefore for the effectively of the communication system in the organization there should be a plan and guidelines for both verbal and non-verbal communication. In this article, there will be a detailed discussion to be made with respect to the importance and effectiveness of a proper communication in the organization. Further, there will be discussion with respect to a proper plan and tools that will be utilized for the proper communication in the organization, which will be both verbal and non-verbal.
Communication in the Organization
Communication is one of the most important components in the organization. In the big manufacturing companies, the employees at the plant are considered as the heart of the company. They are considered as the front lines of the organization and their work and efforts turns the strategy of the organization into deliverable results. Abrashi (2018) have discussed that after the entire working process, the employees of the plant are the one who ensures that the entire manufacturing operations run in a smooth manner with quality products being made and they reach to the prospective customers.
A disruption in the communication caused by any means will in turn become a heavy price for the organization. Therefore, it is very much essential that the managerial level communication should always be effective enough that the employees of the organization remains motivated all the time. Pirjol and Radomir (2017) have discussed that because of the complex nature of a manufacturing plant, there are many challenges occur on daily basis in a plant. Hence, it is very important that there must be an effective communication between the manager and the workers as that will help the management to know the whereabouts at the ground level and they will be able to resolve the issues at the earliest, thus avoiding any kind of roadblock in the operation of the organization.
Causes of Communication Failure in the Organization
In an organization, there are chances that a communication gap may take place. Bucata and Rizescu (2017) have discussed that poor communication occurs in the organization because of the friction caused within the employees, frustration among the employees, confusion and extreme tensed environment that can be found because of the de-motivation of the employees. This lack of motivation within the organization will result into the manner in which the workers perform and that will have a direct impact over the production and manufacturing process.
There are many reasons behind poor communication in the organization. Adeyekun (2019) have discussed few reasons behind the poor communication in an organization. The first reason behind the poor communication is that the objectives are not clear. A proper job description and objectives will help the worker to work according to the goals of the organization, however because of the lack of a clear-cut objective there will be no direction and thus the manager and workers will not communicate in a proper manner.
The second cause of the poor communication is because of the poor leadership in the organization. If a manager fails to show his/ her leadership qualities in the organization, then there will be a communication gap between them, as the workers will not respond to the commands of the manager in a proper manner.
Another reason that may be cause behind the poor communication is the diverse workforce. In the diverse workforce, there will be workers from different cultures, education and beliefs. Thus, there are chances that there will be communication gap because of this diversity.
There are many instances where the employees are de-motivated. The reason behind the de-motivation of the employees is the demoralization and unvalued as well as unappreciated even after their efforts given by the employees. Hence, these raise the communication gap in the organization.
And lastly because of some personal challenges that are being faced by the employees are also the reason behind the occurrence of the poor communication among the employees and in the organization (Rahman & Gamil, 2019).
Importance of Internal Communication
Internal communication is all about promoting the effective communications within the workers of the organization. The internal communication involves the managerial communication and the workers communication. Kang and Sung (2017) have further added that the internal communication is a massage from the management regarding any new policy or informing the workers regarding any kind of upcoming events taking place in the organization or many more. Generally, the HR, PR or the Marketing departments of the organization, conducts these kinds of internal communication.
Dryl (2017) have further discussed regarding the behind the...
