Money is the best way to motivate employees. Yet, many Floridians have opposed the $15 minimum wage in Florida. Over the last twenty years, there have been seven years that employees did not receive an increase in wages and three years that the increase was 6 cents or less. From 2000 to 2020, employees received a total of $3.41 increase in wages, which averages out to be approximately a 17-cent annual hourly increase in their wages.
