Background
The organisation selected for this research is Samsung and the topic selected is “Consumer brand preferences for mobile phones”. Samsung is one of the biggest mobile organisations. All the organisations were based on the consumers’ preferences and needs. As suggested by Lim et al. (2016), consumer brand preferences have become of the biggest issues for the organisations. It has been seen that despite all the efforts made by organisations to attract the customers become useless due to the loyalty of customers towards their regular brand. This created issues for organisations to attract people to the new product.
A similar problem is persistent with the mobile organisations where customer loyalty and preference towards the brand makes it difficult for new organisation to survive. As noted by Liao, Molin and van Wee (2017), consumer brand preference can be beneficial for selective brand who were long in the business but it is a big issue for the new organisations or struggling organisations, which were trying to build their brand name. Consumer brand preferences waste the efforts of the organisation to invest in the innovation to attract the consumer.
