Introduction
Consumption is not merely the purchasing of goods and services, or buying of food or other goods for luxury, it is more than that. Consumption indicates the growth and success of the economy. It is an important element to identify the condition of the economy of a country and in which direction it is going. Apart from economy, when consumption was deeply analyzed by various philosophers, sociologists and anthropologists, they concluded that politics, social status and poverty, all are significantly engaged with the consumption. Things people buy in their daily life is not their individual choice but it is a choice of influence. It is a choice driven by society and the politics.

    Pierre Bourdieu was a sociologist, anthropologist and philosopher who gave the theory of taste, which indicates that the taste of a person is the display of their social status and consumption of material, is inherently political. Similarly, Jean Baudrillard, sociologist, anthropologist and philosopher gave the theory of consumption. Both the individuals rationalized that the act of consumption is inherently politics. Their concept cannot be sidelined, as it is true for the current society. As suggested by Lekakis (2017), consumption is inherently politics can be explained using roles and practices that determine the production and distribution of necessities and luxuries. It is said that the mode of production is necessary for the human settlement to get their basic needs fulfilled in a society but Baudrillard states that it is the consumption that drives the production.
    Every capitalist society is dependent on the consumption. In simple terms, political consumption can be defined as the ethical or political motives behind buying any product. These political motives include sustainability, social justice and corporate social responsibility.
