Introduction
Workplace behaviour is something that is extremely important. It affects the productivity of people in the workplace, above all. If the people in the workplace misbehave, it can deter the productivity of the person (Crane & Matten, 2016). The person, who might have excellent potential, might even decide to go to another organization if the cannot deal with the misbehaviour. In many cases, the behaviour might not even be ethical in any way. This means that there will be consequences for the organization if the behaviour is reported.
Summary of issues and frameworks discussed in Part A
There were two main issues that had been discussed in Part A. The first was the issue of privacy and confidentiality. There are several ethical frameworks that had been discussed for addressing to the issue. The first framework was to follow the code of ethics. The organization itself should set a code of ethics for the employees. They must be strict about enforcing the code of ethics to the employees. The second issue was that of employee discrimination. While discrimination is against almost all state or national laws, there are still employees that face discrimination. The ethical framework that would help in this issue would be to have a discrimination policy and evaluate alternative sources of action so that there is very little to zero discrimination within the organization. Even in this case, the organization should have strict laws and guidelines in place to prevent discrimination.
Reflection of future workplace behaviour
In the future, the first thing I would do is make sure that I would know the laws of the government. In many cases, there are strict laws from the government about what is acceptable in the workplace and what is not acceptable (Ruiz-Palomino & Martinez-Canas, 2014). I would also read and understand the rules and regulations, along with the guidelines of the organization and base my behaviour according to the guidelines that are given.
