1. Imagine that you have been asked to guest lecture in an advanced undergraduate course on psychological statistics. Your topic is systematic review and meta-analysis. List and describe 3 to 5 learning objectives for your 60-minute lecture period. Limit your answer to no more than

Give a brief overview (i.e., specify the IV/s, DV/s, type of research questions/hypotheses, etc.) for studies where data are analyzed using each of the following statistical methods: multiple regression, MANOVA, and factor analysis. 3. Imagine that your doctoral dissertation utilized a single case (subject) design. You perform a visual analysis on your collected in order to answer your research questions. At your doctoral defense, one of your committee members asks you to justify your choice of using visual analysis as opposed to calculating a measure of effect size. What would you tell him or her?

4. Conduct a visual analysis (using the six variables we discussed in class) on the following graphed data. For acontext, this study was a multiple baseline across participants. The DV was the percent of intervals with problem behavior by four middle school students (Kyle, Mike, Nick, and Paul). The intervention was a check in check out procedure (CICO) with the school guidance counselor. As discussed in the figure caption, numbers in the phase lines (on the right side of the graphs) give the number of feedback sessions that students attended with the guidance counselor.
