Introduction on Internet of Things
The phrase "Internet of Things" was coined by combining the phrases "things" and "internet." In this context, the internet refers to a global network of computer links that uses a standard set of web protocols. Things, on the other hand, can relate to both living and non-living objects such as clothes, food, and people. The term "internet of things" has been given a variety of titles, including Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet of Objects. All these phrases, however, allude to schmoozed linkages of everyday items. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a cutting-edge paradigm that connects the inexorable events that surround us with a plethora of items or things. These connections are made possible using wired or wireless internet technology to achieve the desired results (Nord, Koohang & Paliszkiewicz, 2019). The world is currently witnessing the birth of a new internet of things. In the sphere of information technology, there has been a significant transformation.
The term "Internet of Things" does not have a universal definition that can be applied to all internet users throughout the world. Several people, including internet pioneers, researchers, practitioners, and academics, have attempted to define an absolute meaning for the word. However, Kelvin Ashton, a specialist in digital innovation, was the one who coined the phrase Internet of Things (Li, Da Xu & Zhao, 2018). All the descriptions assigned to the Internet of Things, on the other hand, have the common belief that the Internet's core diversity was aligned to data produced by experts and is now entirely aligned to data generated by objects. In summary, the greatest definition of the Internet of Things might be a comprehensive, clear, and full network of intellectual items developed with the ability to self-establish, exchange resources, information, and data, and respond and act in response to circumstances and environmental changes.
The Internet of Tings idea has become the most well-known and touted in the IT sector. The phrase is still evolving, and it is attempting to mature. The notion has captivated the attention of many in the global networked infrastructure over the last decade, enabling anytime connectivity as well as connectivity for any item rather than connectivity for only anybody.
