Social Network Research While Facebook and LinkedIn are well established networking sites, researchers are just beginning to figure out and experiment with how to conduct scholarly research using these technologies. A journal titled, "Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking" focuses on this topic, as well as other technology related issues. Perhaps this is a journal to which you could submit your final assignment for publication. For this discussion, please watch, "TED Talks: Nicholas Christakis --The Hidden Influence of Social Networks." The speaker provides examples and stories regarding how social networks are being studied. Please answer the following questions for your initial post: How can you apply networking research to the workplace? How does social networking impact global organizations and our work as IO psychologists? What are some research questions involving networking and/or social networking that you might want to look into at some point?
