Human Resource Function
The human resource function relates to the aspect of organizational capabilities that focuses on the people who work within the organization as well as the department within the business that is responsible for the management of all the matters that are pertaining to the Employees. This is a significant aspect of the organization because they are responsible for the functions of staffing, training, driving the organisational development, and maintaining human relations. This particular department in every organisation is extremely important because without employees and human relations no businesses are effective. Recruitment is one of the important processes and functions of the Human Resource Department which ensures the selection and hiring of the best candidates for the available position within the organisation in a timely manner.
Recruitment & Selection Process
The recruitment function of the Human Resources Department elaborates on the selection of potential candidates in order to goals of the organisation. This particular aspect is the first step that the organisation takes in order to grow its capital because without qualified workers and employees the organisation cannot meet the specified goals and cannot achieve the resulting profits. The main requirement of the selection process or the recruitment process is an effective selection of the most well-suited candidates from the labour market to fill the unique and the specific roles within the business (Van, 2020). Literature has contemplated that the strategic aspects of the recruitment processes within the organisation provide a competitive advantage for the organisation in the industry.
Literature Review
The review of the literature has revealed that the recruitment and selection process within the organisation are generally adopted on the basis of the technologies and the purpose of the specific roles in the organization. It can be effective from the literature and other research works about the explicit way by which recruitment processes are carried out in the organisation. Most the organisation in recent time had adopted recruiting on the basis of online portals and outsourcing (Eva, 2019). However certain common processes of recruitment and selection processes are job fairs, campus interviews, and mobile recruitment applications. Adoption of technology become a distinct factor in the job market that has not only provided the aspects of the selection of the workforce in a healthy manner but has also provided the organisation with the selection of the right candidate for the right job and the creation of a healthy work environment.
The other factors that have been considered well in terms of the recruitment and selection processes are that an effective recruitment process renders high-quality products and services to society. Literature has also contemplated the role of teacher quality in retention and hiring by examining the higher authorities and the other aspects within the nation. Several research has also contemplated the employer's decision will and on-the-job training that the company gives on the basis of the types of jobs and the aspect of recruiting a candidate is also influenced by their sex (Kulkarni et al., 2020). Several researchers have also investigated the sequential effects of recruitment information on the applicant's reaction to the campus fair, recruitment interview, and site visit. Some other researchers have also enumerated the impact of the benefits information in recruitment advertisements on job pursuit intention.
Similarly, other researchers have also contemplated the differences between internal mobility and external hiring roots that affect the subsequent outcomes in the jobs. Consequently, another research has focused on the analysis of the regional level economic development of the organisations which can help mediate the local political fragmentation that can potentially under my jurisdictional economic development through effective recruitment processes. With a more specific understanding, the main objective of the recruitment policy is created for providing the existing set of employees with qualified workers so that they are able to perform their jobs more effectively and work towards the goals of the organization (Hmoud, 2020). Finding and employing the best candidates with a well-defined recruitment process have a rigorous effect and impact on the recruitment process within the organization.
