Introduction
    With the advent of digitisation and increasing use of internet, social media is being used extensively in the field of healthcare and public health informatics. The fact cannot be escaped that most of the people make use of social media platforms particularly Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to find information about public health and healthcare resources. These social media platforms have been assisting health conscious masses to gather information, find support and make essential healthcare decisions. Social media over the past decade has emerged as a huge platform to share important health information. These platforms are also being used to gain real-time insights into the public health researches being conducted.
Twitter Review
    Twitter has been assisting people to take of their heaths through modern technology and has helped them to eliminate traditional boundaries. Moreover, Twitter has also been encouraging public health professionals to be creative and more thoughtful for their work and share the outcomes of the researches they have been conducting to inform the people about the advancement in the field of public health informatics. Summaries of learning after following three health-related Twitter accounts are as mentioned below:

    This twitter account corresponds to Equity and Health, which has been working extensively in the field of public health. This Twitter account has been quite active and has been providing people with a lot of updated information about the COVID-19 pandemic and the advancements that have been taking place in this area. The recent tweet provides ample information about the responses of National Academies towards the COVID-19 pandemic. The recent tweet of Equity and Health sheds light on the systemic biases and structural racism that has been giving rise to the health inequalities (Twitter, 2020). The article shared recently through this Twitter account titled “The National Academies are responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic”, highlights the opportunity prevailing in the United States to advance health equity.
    This account has also been Re-Tweeting the Tweets of UN Development in support of discouraging misinformation and fake news about COVID-19 from spreading the virus and the discrimination against the infected people even further. This account has also been actively informing the people about the havoc that lockdowns have created on the global trade and activities. The account has also proved to be extremely informative, when it comes to informing the people about the advancements taking place in the researches related to public health particularly to the COVID-19 pandemic.     The Twitter account has proved to be helpful to gather the in and out information associated with the public health particularly related to COVID-19 pandemic. The Tweets made on the account have been constantly providing information regarding the public health and have been assisting people to keep themselves updated while taking care of their heaths. Moreover, the account also shared information about the Locust attacks in India that have put nearly 5 million people at the risk of starvation. The Twitter account of Equity & Health also highlights several biases that have taken over humanity among the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The account has managed to gain the attention of a number of people about the age discrimination-taking place in the hospitals, where the well-being of the younger people is the priority of the hospital staff.
    Another Tweet I found to be extremely informative is the one highlighting the application of digital technology in planning and response of COVID-19 pandemic. Equity & Health has been constantly Re-Tweeting the Tweets of UNDP and UNESCO to keep the people updated about some of the important advancements associated with the environment and their health. The account has managed to share a lot of information about the advancements that have been taking place in the field of developing the vaccine against COVID-19 pandemic. The Twitter account has also managed to inform the masses about the factors that have been driving the COVID-19 pandemic to such severity. The Equity and Health account also highlights the concerns associated with the effective learning of the children among this outbreak. The account has managed to keep the people aware about public health and has been doing an excellent job in the field of public health informatics.
