1a) Introduction
Responsible tourism- It can be regarded as any form of tourism that can be consumed in a responsible manner. Furthermore, it also minimises negative economic, social, as well as environmental impacts. It also generates huge amount of eco
nomic benefits for the local individual along with improving the well-being of the host communities.
Sustainability: Development VS. Sustainable Tourism- It can be said that sustainable tourism is the concept of visiting a place as a tourist as well as trying to make a positive impact with regard to environment, economy and the society. On the other hand, sustainable tourism is also about adapting and re-focusing. It is the tourism that also needs to be informed participation of all of the significant stakeholders, along with the strongest political leadership for making sure wide participation. On the contrary, sustainable development is organising principle for meeting the goals of the human development while continuously sustaining the natural systems ability for providing natural resources along with the ecosystem services on which the society and economy is quite dependent. Furthermore, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is also known as the Global Goals are a universal call for action in terms of protecting the planet and ending poverty (Mathew and Sreejesh, 2017).
b) It can be said one of the major challenge in terms of achieving the sustainability goals in spirit and word will be requiring some of the fundamental shifts in a manner with which views humanity the natural environment with regard to the human development. In terms of achieving the sustainability goals one needs to ensure that there are enough resources.
Sustainable mainly means to be ability to exist continuously. In the recent times, it tends to refer to the biosphere’s capacity along with the civilization of the human beings for coexisting. A lot of future generations must be aimed for in terms of the sustainability as people expect the future generations to be much richer than the present generation no matter what we all do about the resources. There is an assumption by the economists that the future generations will also be in a better place. One of the main aims of the sustainable development revolves around balancing the environmental, economic, as well as the social needs, allowing prosperity for the recent times and also for the future generations (Farmaki et al., 2014).
c) The sustainable and conservation using resources such as social, natural, and cultural is quite important and makes the long term business sense. Sustaining development before the tourism is quite possible by reducing the waste and over-consumption. Reducing the over-consumption along with avoiding the costs for restoring long-term damage of environment that will be contributing toward the quality of tourism.
Throwing light on the above-mentioned discussion it can be said that developing sustainable tourism requires informed participation of all of the informed participants of every relevant stakeholder. Achieving the sustainable tourism is continuous procedure and it also requires continuous monitoring of impacts, introducing the required corrective/preventive measures whenever it is required.
2a) Body
Over-tourism- concept and critical analysis- It is the outcome of the growing number of tourists in a particular area. Furthermore, it also refers to a notion that there are a lot of visitors in a specific area. Furthermore, how many is too many are not always easy for determining but there are some of the signs that a destination is suffering from over tourism. In general terms, over tourism is also assumed to be the overcrowding or congestion from additional tourists that ultimately results in conflict with the local people. There are some of the ways by which the over tourism can be avoided in terms of avoiding any type of conflicts (Mihalic, 2016).
Best and worst practices of over-tourism- Some of the best practices of the over-tourism tend to include: Spreading the flow of tourist intelligently, preserving and adapting the climate change, governments and the local authorities in the Australia are looking out for some of the ways by which they can control the number of tourists in a...
