    · Marriage in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community comes with the setback of parental pressure for reproduction in order to carry forward the parental lineage especially in gay man.
    · Struggle of marriage does not end with just passing a law, real struggle starts with forming a family in heterosexual dominating society.
    Introduction
    · LGBTQ community is a community consists of group of gay, lesbian, bisexual and queer communities.
    · Their culture and subcultures are united by common social movement to gain the right of marriage and acceptance in the society.
    · These communities generally celebrate pride, diversity, individuality and sexuality together.
    · They together fought with the society to gain the status of their individuality.
    Marriage in LGBTQ Community
    Legalization of Same Sex Marriage
    · The legalization of same-sex marriage in 2015 in the US became the milestone in the history of the LGBTQ community. According to Beall, it is that one right, for which they fought fearlessly for many years.
    · This achievement has long list of years of struggle faced by the community. Many unsuccessful movements had opened the pathway to achieve this success.
    · The first large-scale movement was gay liberation movement (1969-1973).
    · Many inter-movement and intra-movement coalitions consist of organizations within LGBTQ and immigrant have formed at local levels to achieve the success of the campaign (Adam).
    · Passage of the same-sex marriage law has been considered as human right, civil right as well as political, social and religious right.
    · Social science has played very important role in passing of the law. It has provided the literature, which become the proof that the same-sex marriages are as healthy as other heterosexual marriages (Lebow).
    · Scientific studies have proven that the financial, social, psychological and physical well-being of LGBTQ community improved by marriage. The marital union when recognized by the law has given this community a new life (Pentaris).
    · Various studies have documented the evidence that legalizing the same sex marriage has improved accessibility to health services to gay men because the LGBTQ individuals face barriers to accessing health services due to discrimination before legalization of Marriage Act.
