Step 1:Go to the ‘Job Outlook’ website (http://joboutlook.gov.au/) (Yes! You may choose any other site capable of profiling careers). Select ‘Explore Careers’ and search for a paid occupation that interests you.




Step 2:Using your chosen career and additional research answer these questions:



  • Give a brief description of the types of jobs you could do within this career.

  • What kind of activities and tasks are you likely to undertake?

  • What training/education is required to apply for a career in this industry?

  • What is the likely income for a graduate? How is this income likely rise with experience?

  • How could the skills from this job lead you to other jobs or other careers? Please specify which jobs or careers you think these skills would be useful in.

  • In your opinion, what does this career bring to society? Support this view with evidence.

This section examines volunteering work that might interest you in the current job market






Step 1:Choose a volunteer organisation and answer these questions:



  • Give a brief description of the volunteer organisation and the job you would expect to do.

  • What kind of activities and tasks are you likely to undertake in this job?

  • Explain what in particular attracted you to this area of volunteering?

  • What training/education is required to volunteer in this occupation?

  • Is there potential to have a paid position in this area? Describe what that paid job might be.

  • How could the skills from this volunteering job lead you to other paid jobs or other paid






Section 4: Examine recruitment


This section examines the current recruitment market.






Step 1: Identify the major recruitment competitors such as SEEK.COM, Adecco etc. Your answer must identify and profile AT LEAST five competitors and cannot use LinkedIn.

. In this study we can examine the current volunteering jobs predictions and the market Trends which we can do as a volunteer in a effective manner. The entire parts are linked with the future trends and current recruitment and tools present in the job. In relation with this assessment we can also determine the various vital evaluation and resources of employment criteria all over Australia.
Part-1 examining the job
The job market is defined as a market in which the employers find out employees for different department of jobs. In the words of Cook et al. (2018), the job market is not said to be as a physical place with the concept demonstrating the competitiveness and interplay between where is labour forces. Therefore the job market can develop relying on the demand and supply of labour within the entire economy for specific education, specific Industries or specific job functions.
Step 1
The first step would be if someone is entering into a job market for the first time, or if someone is looking for a change in career or returning to the job market, after huge long break then he needs to collect the information related to the employment. In the viewpoint of Greiner (2015), future trends is most useful for getting a new job as per their demand. While evaluating the future trend in the job market they can even identify the important decisions and predictions about their career, as they are entering in an effective way to develop their career (Kendrick & Drew 2016).
There are vital job market trends for the upcoming five years, which we can determine for the upcoming predictions related to the career development.
· Same opportunities related to the employment may develop in the upcoming five years in all over the states of Australia including Tasmania South Australia and all the Australian Capital Territory which will have the reduced level of growth.
· The increasing weight of more than half of the employment which is related with education construction Healthcare Technical Services and scientific services.
· There may be a huge fall in the rate of employment with relation to the secretary occupation and expected reduction rate is 22 %.
· That may be a huge fall in the rate of employment and the demand can decrease the skills of the employees as per the analysis the entire employment can be decreased by 1,272,300 9 % to meet 13,726,503 in 2020.
· The job market based in Australia will prefer a high skilled workers who is pursuing a bachelor degree or a higher level of education. In this relation, they are supposed to increase their 14 % of employment.
