relation to one (1) of the following 4 global hospitality leadership situations:


1. Ethics (for example, commissions to online travel agents, overbooking, etc.);


2. Sustainability.


3. Employee relations (for example, salary, benefits, working environment, expatriate


workers, etc.).


4. Cultural diversity.


You should first identify one of the four areas for discussion that are listed and then choose


a hotel leader/brand or hospitality organisation which is focussing on that issue.


You can use your personal experiences of working in hotels or other hospitality sectors, or


you can research a hotel leader/brand or other hospitality organisation online.

It is one of the major issues, which the nation is currently facing. The chosen area of discussion for this article is sustainability because of the above-mentioned facts. The hotel chosen for this study is Nomad Restaurant based in Sydney.
Australian hotels and restaurants including Novotel, Sofitel, Grand Mercure, Mercure, and ibis have been the leader to ensure the sustainable approach in the restaurants. They have adapted to solar panels; they have taken the initiative to install two megawatts of the solar power plant during 2016 around the nation. The research team after the survey realised the main things the guests were looking for and that involved a better waste management system, reduction in consumption of energy as well as an appetite for wholesome items. Apart from Nomad Restaurant, the others stated above are leading organisations and hotels following the sustainability approach.
