Abstract
Training programs are always good for improving
the performance level of the employees and it also helps for making the changes to the behaviour of a person. As per the report of National Poverty Centre US (2019) training provided to the ex-prisoners helps for getting better jobs and improving their lifestyle patterns. For getting a good a job in a company, we should have the skills and abilities that required for filling the suitable positions offered by the companies (Kostiv et al 2019, p.30). Training programs for convicts always provide positive results. In this research paper, we are analysing the purpose of the training program providing to convicts and measures used for evaluating the performance of the convicts. 
1.0 Purpose of the Training Program and Benefits for the Society
The main purpose of the training program is to make changes to the behaviour of the convicts and improving their hidden skills and abilities. It helps for imparting basic employability skills and abilities to the convicts. As per the report of the Department of Correctional Services US (2019) main objective of prisoners, the training program is to help the prisoners for getting recognition and support from the society for getting a job. Training program provided to the prisoners also helps for reducing the unemployment issues and it also helps for improving the quality of life of people (Watkins 2020, p.12). Some of the centres are providing pre-release and post-release training programs for the convicts for getting quality outcome. Training provided to the convicts also helps for reducing the crime rate and it also helps for improving the connections between the people.
