Introduction
In this essay, the main focus would be shed upon the fact that what is my preferred practice approach and how my practice approach fits with social work commitment to social justice. In the present time context, the social work commitment to social justice is the most prominent and influential thing. As the social works that are carried on by the social workers need to be efficient enough to lead toward social justice. In this essay, I would be channelizing that what would be my practice approach in this direction and what are the preferred approach that I am adopting and consider to be useful in this context. As social work is one of the most prominent and responsible works that provide a new direction to the society in order to be purposeful it is very important that it would portray a clear justice to the several problems related to it.
Practice Approach
Considering my practice approach I specifically focus on the several theories that guide my approach throughout. As being a social worker it is my prime duty that would subsequently focus on social justice as well as social works.
Ethical Approach
I could viably illustrate that my practice approach is completely focused upon the theory of ethics. I viably acknowledge and indulge it in my practices as well as the approach that I count. As the theory of ethics attempts to provide a clear, unified account of what are the ethical obligations of a person. Being a social worker including ethics in my approach and practices was necessary so that it could possibly guide my decisions and schedule them prominently in the right direction. The theory of ethics is essentially important in guiding several decisions.
Being a social worker I am always involved in associating my social work with social justice if it is required and that is clearly reflected in my practice. For instance, while conducting any social work I encounter many situations where I found that any kind of injustice is prevalent ethically than I schedule my direction towards justice. I focus possibly on ensuring that justice would be served in the context and the carrying of the work would not be restricted to the social work only. According to my, ethics would be the major factor that would be deciding any of the prevalent situations (Cook & Butz, 2018).
In the conduction of the social work, ethics is very important and during the conduction of social work, it is very important to consider that whether a situation is ethically justified or not. My approach is scheduled around the fact that what is ethically true would be served whether it is the work or justice. And being a social worker the main aim would be to establish the most prominent and accountable situation for the community as well as the society. Practice approach is essentially important to be scheduled according to the ethics.
Utilitarian Theory
Moving ahead to my practice approach is based upon the utilitarian theory of ethics. As utilitarianism is a prominent theory of morality that advocates action that fosters happiness or pleasure and opposes the actions that cause unhappiness or harm to society or the people. Being a social work it is very important that my social work commitment to social justice would be carried on most proficiently and accountably. Including the utilitarian theory in my practice approach is very important concerning the fact that it would schedule the right things in the right direction (Isaak, 2017).
