PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
• To provide the student with the opportunity to reflect upon his/her learning experiences in relation to a topic on assistive technology and occupational therapy;
• To facilitate the student’s ability to synthesise and evaluate relevant theoretical material on assistive technology and occupational therapy and allow choice in the presentation format;
• To enable the student to engage reflectively with material selected from the module;
• Provide evidence of deep learning of a specific topic of the student’s choice;
• Through the process of critical debate, clearly demonstrate the relevance of the selected topic to occupational therapy.
