The three element
s in the models that make the transmission of the communicable diseases are Agent, Host and Environment. The first element is “Agent”. It can be for example, Plasmodium sp., causing malaria in human beings, being indirectly transmitted by the mosquitoes. In this case, a public health intervention can provided, where there is a usage of proper mosquito nets while sleeping so as to lessen the number of mosquito bites and possibility of transmission of malaria from one person to another (Rossati et al., 2016).
For the element “Host”, which can be, for example, human beings, causing transmission of HIV, there can be use of proper protection like using condoms during sexual intercourse so that there is no person-to-person transmission of HIV. For the element “Environment”, the public health intervention can occur in order to implement safe drinking water and food, use of clean clothes and bed-sheets in case of Cholera transmitted by Vibrio cholera, which is a water-borne disease (Islam, Hassan-uz-Zaman, Islam, Clemens & Ahmed, 2020).
