[5 points] Question 3 (Number of beds at Shouldice): [10 points] · Compute the number of patients in the system on different days assuming arrival rate of 27 patients per day; 13 leave in 3 days (after staying 3 nights) and 14 leave in 4 days (after 4 nights). As stated in the case, assume that patients arrive five days a week, Sunday to Thursday. · To answer this question, assume that today is Sunday. Do the calculations for the first 10 days (that is, Sunday to Saturday for Week 1, and Sunday to Tuesday of Week 2). For Day 1, assume that there are zero patients at the beginning of the day.
