The aim of crime prevention is to prevent the occurrence of future of criminal act. The prevention activity is carried out outside the judicial pursuit.
Crime Control:
The activities, which have been undertaken from the judicial perspective to curb the crime in society, are referred as crime control. It involves advocating strict punishment for the offenders.
Differences
Crime prevention can be done by adopting methods like private security and home defense whereas crime control is done by enforcing constitutional rights of the individuals and practicing fair justice system.
