Question One
Line manager play crucial role in the process of recruitment and training of new employees. In fact, what makes their job profile important is the process of hiring that is initiated, as per the requisites of the organizations. First factor related to their job responsibility is to ensure that a clear approach is taken in terms of recruiting new employees (Brewster & Soderstrom, 2017).
They are supposed to take positive methods in order to bring in the best workforce into the organization. The second factor in this context is related to give proper training to the newly hired employees. They are expected to carry out training sessions so that the new employees understand how the organizational culture is working and where they stand in this context.
The third responsibility is to monitor the progress of the new employees over a given span of time. An example of the factors mentioned above can be given as the hiring of accountant staff in firm, training them well so that they fit into their respective job positions and monitoring their progress, as per the skill development norms of the organization (Brewster & Soderstrom, 2017).
