How do you ensure that when these materials are translated they do not end up in the bucket of poorly translated assessments? Do you feel one method is better than others? I agree with your post, however, no matter how much research and different methods you use there will always be things that are missed. Maybe they had not come up before or it is a new aspect that had not been addressed before. That's what so exciting about this whole process is learning and discovering new avenues of how to ensure you are being the fairest and changing processes, failing then creating better ones.

In response to your post, I would like to mention that to ensure that the translation of assessments do not end up in a bucket of poorly translated assessments, it is essential to ensure that the translated assessments are in a language, which is mostly understandable by all the people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Yes, undoubtedly one method can be better than the other. However, there is no doubt about the fact that during translations some information will be missed out.
