Hypothesis being tested, a or b?
(1) Describe how subjects would be recruited to be in the experiment. (5 points)
(2) Describe how subjects would be assigned to each group, label the groups (e.g., experiment, control), and how the groups would differ (e.g., which group(s) will receive the intervention cited below). (5 points)
(3) Describe what would constitute the pre/post-test. (5 points)
(4) Describe an “intervention”or treatment that might be appropriate for this experiment. That is, develop an intervention that would theoretically be likely to increase either violent attitudes or violent behavior (depending on which you have chosen to test). (5 points)
(5) Write a brief one paragraph explanation to give to the subjects that describes the purpose of the experiment and what they will be expected to do. It is okay to have some level of deception (or perhapstelling less than the “whole truth” if theyou believe it is necessary). (5 points)

Hypothesis being tested - Alcohol consumption increases the likelihood of violent behavior
1) Recru
itment of subjects – to study the effects of alcohol on the human behavior, the subjects can be recruited directly or indirectly depending on the area of study and co-operation of the people. Direct study would be getting the test filled by regular alcohol consumers and indirect study would include studying the accidents in any trauma center and then taking the history of the driver.
2) Assigning groups to the subjects - For the study, the subjects would be assigned in two groups for better analysis. One group would be labelled as the test group and would include the people who engaged in violent behavior after alcohol consumption....
