It is important to remember that while many Indigenous people did not survive, millions have and they deserve to be honoured in a way fitting of them. As with all of our assignments, you have a choice in how you want to present your learning. Create a powerpoint that not only shows the person or organization you have chosen to celebrate, but why they deserve to be celebrated A traditional essay with proper thesis and citations (maximum 4 pages or 1000 words) Create a short video or podcast that discusses your chosen piece, the person or organization you have chosen to celebrate, but why they deserve to be celebrated. Orally present your findings to the class in a brief presentation Write a piece of creative writing, (story or poem), that is inspired by the person or organization you have chosen to celebrate, but why they deserve to be celebrated.
