TheNational Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL)tracks child welfare issues in the following major categories: foster care, adoption, child abuse and neglect, kinship care, child welfare system, prevention, minority issues, and federal issues. As you examine the issues on the NCSL website, think about the issue that is of particular interest to you.
As you have learned through your exploration of the NCSL website, there is no shortage of issues within the field of child welfare. Although you will deal with most (if not all) of these issues as you enter the field, there may be one or more issues that interest you more deeply. Select one issue that you are most interested in exploring in this course and for your final projects, and address the following in your post:
