Snyder takes up the approach of governance and the way democracy has shaped the modern ideals of ruling people. However, his approach is subtle in terms of how transfer fo power takes place in democracy. It is more like showing faith in the elective form of government where people choose what they wish to have in terms of ruling power. When it comes to ruling a massive amount of people, at times, leaders lose control over their emotions (Snyder, 2017).
