    With global economic shifts and rising population across the globe, it has become the need of the decade to manage the availability of food, water and other oil requirements of the people. It is becoming difficult day after day to manage the ever-increasing food, water and oil needs of the people. It may sound easy to lay more pipes for water supply and to cultivate more crops to meet the needs however; it is not an easy task due to the changes in global climate, which is becoming warmer day by day. Therefore, creative and innovative ways are required to tackle our global issues of food and water supplies and oil needs. This research paper shall focus on some of the innovative and creative ways to manage food, water and oil needs of the growing population across the globe.
Methods to Manage Food, Water and Oil Supplies
    As per the United Nations, more than 800 million people in this globe suffer from chronic hunger and even higher numbers of people suffer from malnutrition. The oil and energy needs of people could not be fulfilled either. These issues are increasing further and situation is worsening across the globe owing to the climate changes, global warming and reducing groundwater levels (Pahl-Wostl). Focusing on ways to tackle these issues is among the priority list of most of the nations as it is mandatory for economic development and security of nations. To overcome these issues technical methods have to be considered along with educating people.
Some of the ways to tackle the global food and water trouble are as stated:
Nexus between Energy and Water
    As the population across the globe continues to grow, the demand for water and energy has been growing as well. Most of the nations depend on these sectors for their economic growth and development. To ensure that there is enough water supplies it is important to focus on the nexus between energy and water in a holistic view (Chen & Chen). Scarcity of either one or both of these resources will hamper the sustainable development of nations. It is therefore important to make decisions that take into consideration the technological factors and policies associated with both the sectors. Focusing on only one sector will do no good to reduce the issues of global food and water supply.
Focusing on Real Time Solutions
    Real time solutions should be thought of considering the holistic view integrating behavior and lifestyle of the people, conservation of resources and technology. A holistic and integrated approach will help to ensure that the world can be on the path of sustainable development. Some of the real time solutions have been identified as:
