    Over the years, it has been observed that female subjugation is a resultant aspect of the patriarchal construct that seems to thrive in society. This treatment has been exhibited through humor in various audiovisual media, especially in Hollywood. This has resulted in the overhaul of the male potency, which has furthermore ensured the oppressed situation of women, especially in the case of relationship. The relationship might result in a situation where the female is not able to satiate the needs of the male (which of course he thinks) and therefore result in the subjugation. However, there seems to be a situation when women are able to come out of their closet and finally empower themselves, feeling liberated.
    This has been given a profound treatment in the movie Diary of a Tired Black Man, it can be regarded as a fascinating documentary on the melodramatic expression which had marked the directorial debut of the very fresh Tim Alexander.
