A researcher wants to find out whether balance training would have a significant effect on the amount injuries in professional gymnasts. Gymnasts were measured for four consecutive months while receiving balance training. The number of injuries sustained by seven gymnasts are contained in the dataset.

1. What is the dependent variable? What is the factor (IV)? What are the levels of the factor?
(1 pt.)

The dependent variable would be how many injuries the girls had, and the IV is the balance training. The levels of the factor is balance training.

2. Perform a statistical test to determine if there is a significant decrease in injuries due to balance training intervention, including post hoc analysis if appropriate.
(2 pts.) (Copy & paste from SPSS Output) (Include descriptive statistics, Mauchly’s test, ANOVA results, Bonferroni results, and plot)

3. Report the results in APA format, using complete sentences. Use the lecture slides as a guide, making sure to include all 4 parts in your results.
