Fixed Mindset versus Growth Mindset

One in which she calls a "locked" attitude in which the student feels that she cannot progress in her intellect and fears change and challenges. The other she terms a "widening" mentality, in which students will face challenges and learn from mistakes. You think you can learn a lot more. As he argue with Dweck's idea, he does not disagree fully in Alfie Kohn's article' The perils of growth,' but believes it is necessary to change the educational system. Students who were honored for their effort were much better than those students whose intelligence was praised.
