For UPS the internal promotion was useful because it helped employees to handle different tasks in their career at the company. This contributed in their personal and professional growth. Employees put extra effort in their job and felt secured for having a long-term future with the company (Soupata, 2001).
It improves the relationship by building the trust and confidence between employer and the employee. This resulted in teamwork, which further ensured the highest performance level. The organization empowered its employees by giving them due independence in making everyday decisions, which included lost packages, transportation, myriad and much more (Soupata, 2001).
This made them responsible for their own actions and customer satisfaction. The exploration of new ways ensured effective and efficient result driven practices. Apart from this, coaching given at both the levels proved to be critical because diverse backgrounds, experiences and education need to be streamlined according to the existing processes (Soupata, 2001). It helped to utilize them for attaining the strategic competence in the market.

The human resource practices, which are prevalent in any organization, are vital for the workforce of the company in a sense that with it, the employees get attracted towards the company. Consequently, they stay there for longer period of time (Srimannarayana, 2020).
