Every country has their cultural belief and practices. This difference is quite large, which can seem to be weird to different nations, however it is a common practice for that nation. An article published on December 15, 2015 at CBS News that in Japan it is the cultural norm to make their kids independent at a very young age. They are being taught to do their own things at house, get ready by themselves for school and of course commute to school all by themselves, which can be travelling several miles and journey might take up to an hour. However this seems completely different in Western countries and those, such as Australia, where parents make sure their children are ready as well as they are carrying their required books and food.
