Determinants of health are the environments that we live, study, work, and operat
e in. as mentioned by Palermo, Kleve, McCartan, Brimblecombe and Ferguson (2019), these factors can affect the health and quite well-being of one and community. They can involve factors such as level of education, proximity to violence, architecture of neighbourhood, and whether one has access to health care or not. The above two photos is of the Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory of Australia.
The first photos show a women belongs to aboriginal ethnic group wearing a protective mask and carrying child in amid of the corona virus breakdown. Many researchers have claimed among Aboriginal cultures, even greater social issues were found that needed to be resolved. Since 2008, Aboriginal prison rates have increased; the amount of kids in out-of-home care has increased three fold, and juvenile delinquency and self-harm have soared. There are unlimited understanding of the variables affecting the health actions of Aboriginal Australians.
DeLacy, Dune and Macdonald (2020) have explained social Behaviour and attitude commonly considered to be influenced by variables beyond the individual's immediate influence, such as perceived behavioural control regulation and different sensitivity. The second is the conclusive proof of the vulnerability of the aboriginal child health. These children subjected to physiological, social and family factors, such as respiratory infections, mental illnesses in some care providers, and insufficient accommodation, which raise their risk of health complications.
Both the photos determine how aboriginal child deprived of the environmental determinant of the health. There are very less or next to negligible reliable health accessibility in their areas. Although the picture seems happy and vulnerability is not depicting that much, however, it seems that these children lacks of basic primary health care facilities.
